Over View Roof Estimator has included a Contract/Proposal form, which also includes an Invoice form, Roof Certifications form, Roof Inspections form, Estimate/Take-off sheet form and letters form. We can add into each one of these forms: your Company info. Name, Address, Phone #'s, Logo and Slogan (Specific to your own Company) Legal Clauses, Hourly Rates etc. Note: These forms come bundled together in the contract/proposal form. Unless you have purchased the Roof Estimator Pro or the Contract/Proposal Plug-in form , you will not have these forms in your copy of Roof Estimator. |

Roof Estimator can custom make each Contract/Proposal form, Invoice form, Roof Certification form, Roof Inspection form, Estimate/Take-off sheet and Letter specifically for your company. Which includes adding all your company's information such as: Company Name, Address, Phone Numbers Company Logo and Slogan, any Legal Clauses, Hourly Rates etc.
Note: These example Logos and are not of the best of quality, we are not professional logo makers these are logos we've made or borrowed and are provided to give you an idea of what the size requirements are and the location of where they will be placed in each form. If you type in logo as a key word in Google or any search engine you can get info. on how to have a logo custom made for your company. Required Steps to Custom make these forms for your Company. You'll receive an email very similar to the one below. We'll email you the above following forms as attachments so you can install (copy/paste) your company's information in to them. You can alter the forms slightly but you can not go beyond the 1 page limit. In other words you can adjust any area (make it larger or smaller) as long as you don't go beyond the 1 page limit. Example: If you wanted to make the top/header section of the form larger so you're logo and company address info fits that's ok, as long as you stay with in the 1 page limit. Note: You may need to delete the existing data in these forms; in order to place you're data in them. Unless, you want it to remain as it is. After you've placed you're data into the forms, you'll need to email them back to Roof Estimator as attachments, just as we emailed them to you. You may want to attach each form in a separate email, so they will get sent out faster. After you've emailed us back the forms (with your info. in them) as attachments, we'll review them to make sure they are going to work. If they appear to be ok, Roof Estimator will then email you back your forms as attachments in a compressed .zip file that will need to be unzipped in order for them to be installed. You'll need to have winZip installed on your computer in order to unzip these files. We've provided the URL/Link so you can download winzip for free. Simply double click the below URL / Link or copy and paste it into your browser, (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.) URL / Link <http://www.download.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html> To unzip each of these forms: Simply right click each form and select: Winzip - Use Evaluation Version - Add to Zip file - give it a path so you will know where you have unzipped these forms to. Note: After you have unzipped your forms you will need to install them. Simply double click on each of your newly unzipped forms to install them. It's that easy!! You'll see a form that confirms you've successfully installed them and to click exit. Note: If you receive an error saying "opening this file may be harmful" ignore this error, and click Open. Suggested logo size 2 1/2" wide x 1" high and it must be in .jpg or .gif format (preferably a .jpg format).

Templates Copy and Paste The Contract / Proposal form has a box called Services to be Performed, it describes to your clients what services will be performed. Roof Estimator has also included a form called Templates. The Templates form provides templates that you can fill out describing each type of roof and the services that will be performed to apply it. Since many of the services performed are the same per roof type, there is no need to type them in manually every time. Simply type into the template form the services that will be performed for each type of roof, and then copy and paste them into the Contract/Proposal form over and over again as needed. (It is a real time saver). You may also use the templates form to copy and paste common used phrases for all the forms in the contract/proposal form.
The Contract / Proposal form must be left open in order for you to get back into it, after opening the Template form and copying your text/template. Do not close the Contract/Proposal form if you plan on revisiting it to paste your text/template from the template form. If you receive a prompt asking for the invoice # it means you closed the contract/proposal form, you will need to close down the contract/proposal form and reopen it. |

Faxing the Contract / Proposal Form All forms that can be printed can also be faxed directly out of Roof Estimator. You must set the default printer to fax prior to faxing the Contract / Proposal Form. To set the Printer to default to Fax in Windows 2000 and XP, Click Start - Settings - Printers - Right Click the Fax Printer - Click Set As Default Printer. Now you can fax the Contract/Proposal Form. Just click the Print Button on the very top of the Contract form. To Print the Contract/Proposal Form you must do as described above but choose the Printer as the default Printer prior to printing the Contract/Proposal Form. |

Mailing the forms To Mail your custom made forms just print it out, fold it in thirds with the client information showing in the front, slip it into an envelope that has a window in the front so the client information is showing, preferably an envelope with your logo and company name, place a stamp on it and put in the mail. It's that easy!!! |
